Wanted to draw Aerith Gainsborough. One of my first and favorite female characters of all time. I said I wouldnt draw fanart but since I saw lone-momo's poll, and find out that a lot of people hated this character it pissed me off for some reason, and that lead me to want to draw her.

I got really lazy in the background, the picture isnt what I had in mind but oh well... I just need to practice more... Since I change my monitor and now is widescreen the wallpaper is that size... if someone want other resolution tell me to submit it too. : )

Done in Painter IX and Textures added on Photoshop CS2

Gah... I thought I had posted on your journal... but the only reason I wouldn't commission is you is lack of money... but if I could, I'd probably pay around 5 dollars for a clean sketch and 10-15 for a colored piece depending on the complexity C:

Beautiful Aerith artwork! It's a bummer that not too many people like Aerith. The same goes with Tifa. Yuffie has always been bringing in the fans, and she still is! Besides, Yuffie has dominated every other FF7 character in terms of FF7 characters, even the badass Sephiroth. Anyway, Yuffis is my favorite, Aerith is my second favorite, and Tifa is my third favorite.
